What Is ADN

Autonomous driving network (ADN) is an advanced solution designed by Huawei, a pioneer of TM Forum's Autonomous Networks (AN), to fulfill the "Zero-X and Self-X" vision of AN based on the concepts of "leave complexity to providers and bring simplicity to customers" and "superior user experience and simplified network O&M". By integrating cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI (GenAI), agents, and digital twins, the ADN solution continuously improves network automation and intelligence, accelerating digital intelligent transformation for CSPs.

E2E monitoring and closed loop at the service layer
Based on intelligent service platforms such as AUTIN, ADO, and SmartCare, scenario-specific policy orchestration and process orchestration are implemented across various domains to achieve an E2E value stream closed loop, enhancing the efficiency and benefits of event processing, experience assurance, complaint handling, and marketing.

Policy execution and closed loop at the network layer
A telecom foundation model and GenAI technology are integrated to develop agents and copilots. These agents and copilots collaborate with the network management, control, and analysis modules to complete data collection, analysis, control, and optimization, thereby achieving an autonomous closed loop and reliable policy execution in individual domains.

Real-time awareness and execution at the NE layer
Intelligent infrastructures, such as hardware and protocols, enable NEs to implement local inference and high-precision awareness, thereby achieving real-time awareness of multidimensional data and providing real-time feedback to the upper layer for policy execution.

All-Optical ADN solution
Huawei's All-Optical Access ADN solution, based on two major innovations—CEI Measurement Model and Telecom Foundation Model—empowers the intelligent operation of home broadband experience:CEI experience labels help pinpoint potential customers, enhancing marketing success rates by several times. AssurSpirit replaces manual site visits and fixes experience faults before complaints, cutting down the user churn rate by 20%. CompSpirit and FMEMate enable intelligent fault locating, reducing OPEX by 30%.


IP ADN Solution
To accelerate the realization of AN L4, Huawei introduces the 'One Map, One Brain' solution. One Map: iMaster NCE Network Digital Map provides real-time network state perception, enabling precise identification of service quality issues and rapid optimization.
One Brain: NetMaster enables automation through multi-dimensional KPI correlation analysis, error-free deployment via 1:1 online configuration simulation, autonomous fault identification and root cause diagnosis for efficient operations.
