The U2000 is a centralized operation and maintenance system for Huawei MBB networks. It centrally manages Huawei MBB NEs and provides open northbound interfaces for the NMS. As shown in Figure 2, the U2000 provides various northbound interfaces to meet different integration requirements of different operators.
Figure 1 Northbound interfaces supported by the U2000 V2
As shown in Figure 2, the U2000 provides various northbound interfaces for implementing the following types of O&M functions:
Supports the CORBA, ASCII streaming, SNMP, and file interfaces.
Supports the file interface and CORBA interface (not recommended).v
Supports the file interface, command line interface, and CORBA interface (not recommended).
Supports the CORBA, LDAP, and RADIUS interfaces.
Supports the file interface.
Operators can select the most appropriate interfaces and interconnection modes based on the requirements of third-party O&M systems on the live network.
Multiple well-known OSS software vendors in the industry have established strategic cooperative relationships with Huawei. By using certain methods, such as northbound interface pre-integration and joint version test, both parties cooperate seamlessly and ensure stable O&M system operation for operators.
If there are special northbound interface requirements, Huawei is able to provide a professional northbound interface customization service. Customers can communicate with Huawei local service experts to work out a solution.
vHuawei iManager solution provides centralized management of Huawei mobile network devices. If operators expect to construct a multi-vendor and end-to-end O&M solution, Huawei can establish strategic cooperative relationships with well-known OSS software vendors in the industry to provide a better network-wide O&M solution, including multi-vendor management, for operators.
