Multimode base stations include macro and distributed base stations. These different base stations designs are customized to different scenarios, speeding up deployment and reducing costs.

Macro base stations integrate BBUs and RRUs. The BTS3900 and the BTS3900L are designed for centralized indoor installation scenarios. The BTS3900A is designed for the centralized outdoor installation scenario.

The DBS3900 integrates BBUs and RRUs/AAUs. In a distributed installation scenario, the RRU can be installed close to the antenna or AAU solution to reduce feeder loss, improving the performance of the base station.
