Diesel Hybrid Power System: Diesel hybrid power system has excellent performances in poor or no grid areas.

Solar Hybrid Power System:Solar hybrid power system has excellent performance for off-grid and poor-grid areas where the peak sunshine period is more than 3 hours .

Grid Hybrid Power System:Grid hybrid power system has excellent performance in unstable grid areas.

Using individual parts, such as common diesel generators, backup batteries, and power devices, to make up a power supply solution for a telecom site with no or poor grid can have problems including high fuel consumption, costly maintenance, and short device service life. Huawei provides site power supply solutions that leverage advanced intelligent control and power conversion technologies and integrate solar energy, fuel, grid power, and batteries to lower the total ownership of operation (TCO). The solutions help customers considerably improve power supply efficiency, reduce power supply expenditures, and maximize the return on investment (ROI). The solutions include diesel, solar, and grid hybrid power systems.

Diesel Hybrid Power Solution:

Huawei provides the D1 series diesel hybrid power solution to supply power (1–3 kW) for sites with no or poor grid power and with high power consumption. The DieselMax technology efficiently solves problems such as inefficient fuel conversion, high fuel consumption, and the frequent maintenance that a conventional power solution encounters. The integrated structural design features antitheft, small footprint, rapid deployment, and ease of installation.

Solar Hybrid Power Solution:

Huawei provides solar hybrid solutions including solar series S1, solar-diesel series S2, and solar-grid (diesel) series S3 to supply power for sites with no or poor grid power and with the daily peak sunlight exposure of more than 3 hours. The SolarMax maximizes the use of solar energy while reducing OPEX, and the converters deliver an efficiency of up to 98.5%. All these features meet the requirements for zero carbon emission and minimum maintenance cost.

Grid Hybrid Power Solution:

Huawei provides optimal grid hybrid power solutions including high-performance fast charge series G2, enhanced fast charge series G3, and standard fast charge series G4 for sites with poor grid power, based on power grid types (types 2, 3, and 4). GridMax technology maximizes the use of mains power and minimizes the diesel generator runtime to reduce maintenance costs.
