PTN 3900 - Huawei

PTN 3900

PTN 3900s and PTN 3900-8s are multi-service frame-shaped devices for packet transport and are mainly used at the aggregation layer of a packet transport network. They support 40GE service aggregation, easily adapt to the ambient environment, provide various network- and device-level protection mechanisms, and ensure highly reliable service aggregation and forwarding.

PTN 3900s and PTN 3900-8s support 40GE interfaces, meeting large-bandwidth aggregation requirements. PTN 3900s and PTN 3900 -8s use the distributed architecture and implement control and forwarding separation. 1+1 redundancy protection is implemented for system control boards, cross-connect boards, and power modules, meeting requirements for high reliability and large-capacity aggregation, supporting multi-service transmission and management.
